I have taught children in a church-setting for around thirty years.  I am the the four-year-old teacher and I also assist in the three-year-old class.  Being an elementary substitute teacher for six years taught me many things about teaching different levels of students.  That was further enhanced when I was the Site Director of Foundations Learning Center’s After School Program for twelve years.

I have been a member of various churches for about twenty-five years.  I am married and have two grown children.  One lives in the Outer Banks, the other lives in Gloucester.  The newest addition to my family is my grandson.  Billy, my husband, works on Army helicopters in many capacities at Ft. Eustis as a civilian employee.
