I'm New

Newington Baptist Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Come to Newington and worship our Lord this Sunday!

The Newington Family is eager to meet you and welcome you to Morning Worship beginning at 10:30 am.  
Worship music is led by James and Heather King.

Greeters are stationed at each of the entrances to hand out bulletins for worship and to help you find your way to the sanctuary or a classroom for Bible Study.
Let the greeters know you are a visitor; there is a gift bag and information about Newington waiting for you.  
Still sleepy?  Coffee and tea are available right next to the information desk!

Children under the age of 4 are welcomed into nursery classrooms and are also welcomed to stay with you in the sanctuary.  
After worshiping with song, children ages 4 – 5th grade are invited to join KidzWorship, a special time of learning, fellowship and worship just for children.

All age ranges can be found at Newington.  Just like most families, the family at Newington is intergenerational.  
Every age has something to offer!  You’ll quickly notice that people are dressed in a variety of attire from dresses and dress shirts to jeans and tennis shoes.  
Come in whatever you are comfortable in!   Worship is not about the clothes, but a heart for the Lord.

Do you have a question or need prayer?  The pastor and prayer team are available for you at the close of each service.
 You can make your way to the front of the sanctuary and talk with one of them, or speak to them as you exit one of the sanctuary doors.
